You have come to know United Way of Lea County for our financial support of local and non-profit organizations throughout the county. In fact, for 50 years we have proudly provided a way for employees to help their friends and neighbors through payroll deduction and direct giving.
Just since 1980, United Way of Lea County has invested over $12 million in local programs, projects and services - making it possible for thousands of people to get the specific help they need.
We know that every problem can't be solved in every community, but United Way of Lea County firmly believes that individuals, agencies, communities, companies, governments and faith-based organizations can work together to address the current and emerging needs of Lea County's most vulnerable citizens.
With our new, stronger focus on COMMUNITY IMPACT, United Way of Lea County enters and innovative era of emphasis on tangible results rather than just strictly fundraising. We are positioned as a strong community motivator and convener, identifying issues and bringing together the parties who can work together to bring about change and improvement.
