211 connects you to caring, helpful experts. Every call is completely confidential.
If it weren't for you, I don't know what I would have done without food. It's been dangerous to go out and I can't afford to get sick, I'm at high risk for getting Covid.
This call has given me more hope than I thought possible. I've been beaten down and just talking with you meant more than all the resources you gave me.
Man, Y'all always try to help. and y'all know exactly where to send me. I love coming and talking to you and getting connected to people that can help.

Early Childhood Literacy
United Way is proud to partner with the Early Childhood Coalition to help bring the Dolly Parton Imagination Library to Lea County. With this program, any child 0-5 residing in Lea County is eligible for 1 free age appropriate book every month. If you are interested in supporting this cause, please contact Lorena Castillo @ 575-397-2203 Ext 223. Or apply online @ imaginationlibrary.com
Feminine Hygiene Products
United Way of Lea County understands the needs for low income women to have hygiene kits specific to their gender. Most hygiene kits overlook women’s needs, so we are proud to provide 200 feminine hygiene kits every year.
Coat Drives
United Way of Lea County works with the Salvation Army as a drop-off location for donated coats. We understand the great need in our county for folks to stay warm and we ensure all donated coats go directly to the Salvation Army Hobbs.
Women United
Women United Awards are presented to women who make substantial impacts in our community. We are pleased to celebrate women who work tirelessly to improve education, financial stability and health outcomes in our community.
Please join us in recognizing the following women for their outstanding work across the community and with Lea County United Way.
